Pucc is a half-elf orphan from the bustling, chaotic Abriella Port on Abriellenne Island, a the slum of a dynamic city steeped in vibrant trade and danger. Raised by loving but overworked and infirm human parents, Pola and Gurt, he lacked proper education or stability, spending much of his youth bouncing between menial dock jobs and running with the Doc Decker's Dock Boys; a gang of street urchins known for thieving and territorial violence. Though uneducated, Pucc’s silver tongue and wit helped him navigate the docks, where he picked up intermediate skills in boat repair, crew organization, and captaining. Smaller in build but dexterous and sinewy, Pucc is driven by a deep desire for connection but struggles with trusting others’ intentions.
Pucc’s life took a turn when a deal gone wrong with the Banger's Legion left him marked for death. Desperate, he stowed away on the nearest ship, which incidentally belonged to the cunning Captain Grimgore, a pirate who agreed to spare Pucc in exchange for ten years of labor aboard his vessel. After enduring this indentured servitude for a little over a week, he escaped at WSB Space Port and sought passage again, but was exploited and abandoned at Port Astartes. Now adrift in a dangerous world, Pucc is resourceful, determined, and driven to carve out his destiny on the waves, even as the shadows of his past threaten to catch up with him.
