The Captains tried a bunch of things with the cube

First attempt

  1. They pulled the button, and a red light shined from within, and then it snapped back into place
  2. Zo cast Shilellaighgh on it again, and one of the corners rotated
  3. Ari licked it, and it tasted tangy, kind of like copper or a battery
  4. Gyrnst was going to hook it up to mains power on the ship, but forgot to unplug the fridge from the wall, and shocked himself into tomorrow

Second attempt

  1. Zo cast Shilelleagh on it again, one of the corners rotated
  2. Gyrnst pulled the button and rotated the corner a quarter turn
    1. The button stayed out, and the light starts red, and changes to blue
  3. Pucc attempts to investigate the light, but doesn't know if it's tech or not
  4. Zo intuits with a dirty 20 that it's an arcane artifact
  5. Ari rotates it like a rubix cube perpendicular to the button
  6. Shadow pushes button, the whole thing spins and goes back into place
