Session 16
- We discussed the changes (from a classic D&D-fantasy to science-fantasy, with the addition of The Covenant and The IA) and other things relevant to character backgrounds
- The Captains relaxed, and took turns investigating the Mysterious Cube, culminating in Gyrnst connecting himself to mains power through Josh's fridge
- It had various arcane shifts, from quickly rotating itself, to slots of metal sliding out, and glowing
- Skavin gave them some options for travel in their area
- Begin the quest to get Captain Jarllow's pirate goods to his daughter, Defromora Jarllow
- With a variety of options, the players chose to go to Abriellenne Island to try to track down the tortles there which had attacked The Johnny Porker
- Afterwards, they will begin to return the Jarllow's money to Defromora
- They reach Abriella Port, Pucc is "disguised" (with a Nat1) using a sombrero and poncho by Shadow, and they find some of Doc Decker's Dock Boys
- After a brief exchange of secret codes, are taken to The Happy Hopper and introduced to Doc Decker himself
Session 17
- The Captains talk with Doc Decker
- Evaded combat with the Bangers through a tactical Charm Person spell
- Went to Kelvin Mistsplitter and spoke with him
- Kelvin said he knew of another tortle named Choe, who might know more about Bort and Rin
- Kelvin also offered to take them on a trip to meet Choe
- They spoke with Skavin, and she OK'd a trip, and is going to explore Abriellenne herself
- Before they got on Kelvin's boat, they heard the Banger get bad about being charmed
- They got on his boat and sailed off to find the Tortles
- (We also retconned getting 1-hour rebreathers that people can wear under water)
- Session ended as shadows under the water approached the boat
Session 18
- The Captains met with Choe on Kelvin Mistsplitter's ship.
- Choe didn't know where Zo's family was, but told them about The Karak Malok
- They discussed the Dunkaa
- Sukuut observed changes 5 years ago (did not share more personal stories)
- Sukuut tried to help estranged tortles
- It helped sometimes, but many of them formed The Lost
- They discovered the Choe is more progressive compared to the more conservative Tortles of the Sukuut
- They were attacked by a Tern-class airship owned by the Safer Seas Coalition militia group
- They killed Gabriel Sanchelli, the nephew of one of the big men in SS, Antonio Sanchelli
- Killed the officer
- Took two militia men captive
- The airship swooped overhead, and sped back to Abriellenne
- Gained 90xp
Session 19
- The Captains killed one of the captives and interrogated the remaining survivor, Cornelius
- They discovered The Karak Malok is arriving in the port in three days
- Learned that the Safer Seas Coalition people were going to be looking for them for sure (no communications after a period of time along with Gabriel Sanchelli being in the crew)
- Kelvin took them on a circuitous route back to port in the hopes of losing any pursuers
- The Captains decided that the best course of action would be to leave town for a few days, take Cornelius hostage/as a cook, and return when the Karak Malok was scheduled to dock
- Session ended with the crew pulling up to the port and seeing smoke rising from Kelvin's apartment and a squad/platoon of militia men waiting for them on the docks
Session 20 - 21
This was divided into two sessions
- Session 20
- This was a long, tense, hostage situation as the Captains returned to dock approaching danger
- Many plans were hatched, but in the end, the party ordered slushies from a street vendor.
- But never received them...
- Oh and by the way, Cornelius tried to escape, was killed by Ari, and Pucc shot the attacking corporal. Session over!

- Big fight on the docks!
- Abriella Port
- Many dead Safer Seas Coalition militia men
- Gyrnst, this is your moment!
- Shadow Danglebits threw Gyrnst into combat and he was immediately attacked for full damage
- Shadow then later apologized by throwing her knife/sword into Gyrnst on a Nat 1
- The party found some gold and weapons, but on the corporal, Shadow also found something else...

- 140XP each (120 from this fight + 30 from last session

Session 22 Summary
- The Captains decide to leave Abriella Port and head the Bonanny Islands
- Pucc does an incredible impression of the corporal, and buys the team time to get out of dodge
- They disembark, attempting to investigate the communications device and the cube
- As they are leaving, The Captains agree to pay 25% of their earnings on any missions to Skavin for the ship's upkeep
- Shadow just straight gives her 20 gold pieces

- Everyone puts their heads together, but they're uncertain if it has a geolocation device on
- The geolocation makes them a little wary, and uninterested in selling to friends
- Ari throws it into the ocean, for good measure
- As they arrive at Bonanny Islands, they see a heavy storm approaching from the direction of the Vast Desert
- Zo determines that it should just be heavy rain, but otherwise safe to dock
- Skavin sets off to Captain Jarllow's former address to retrieve his savings, and The Captains head to the nearest bar to decompress a little from the fight maybe gather some intel on where Defromora might be
- The Captains arrive at Bajhaeah Beelieay's, just before it closes shop for the storm, and order very fancy drinks
- Blended pineapple, rum, a sprinkle of cinnamon, a cherry for good measure, for Ari and Shadow, and healthy helping of crainoid for Gyrnst, Pucc, and Zo

- Gyrnst and Zo are having a bad time with their crainoid, everyone else is having a ball, when Skavin sends a text saying she's being followed
- She sends one last voice message, briefly recording a scuffle, and then she stops reading messages
Session 23 Summary
- The Captains panic, and there's a moment where no one knows what to do
- Gyrnst and Zo attempt to dogpile Shadow, and they play a quick round of spin the turtle
- Ari thinks they should retrace their steps and track down Skavin
- She and Pucc tag-team their skills of tracking and city-trekking and not only figure out where Skavin is headed, but beat them to it!
- At The Jarllow Estate, the team splits up to find a way in
- Pucc jams the lock on the front door, but Shadow finds a way in through the back
- The Captains search through the house, and find that it's barely been lived in
- Shadow discovers a secret attic designed like a captain's cabin, and Pucc finds a picture of his old ship, The Pikey Goblin
- Zo transforms herself into a giant wolf spider and lays trip-webs at various entrances to sense intruders
- Gyrnst finds the bathroom
- The Captains lay in ambush for the approaching crew
- They see it's a mass of about 20 people and Skavin before they are covered by the approaching rain
- The initial idea is to listen in as the crew enters the building, but they decide it's better to lay waste to them instead
- Ari fires one of her stolen explosive arrows into the crowd, vaporizing her target, killing another, and wounding 7 others
- Pucc wounds another, and Shadow lays down cover fire with her plasma pistol
- Meanwhile, Gyrnst and Zo form the ground-floor defense, waiting for unwitting victims to enter.

Session 24 Summary
- Absolutely huge, chaotic fight in the rain
- The advancing crew split in half
- One half curved up over a hill, and started advancing towards the house
- Skavin broke from the sahuagin next to her, and was chased by five of the crewmen
- Shadow was the first to charge from the house, and after doing some incredible damage, was dropped unconscious, and soon almost everyone left the safety of the house to join him
- Gyrnst did great damage with his javelins and warhammer and revived Shadow
- Pucc leapt from the second floor to skewer a pirate into the beach
- Zo poisoned and paralyzed pirates as a great spider
- Ari rained down death from above, sending another explosive arrow and mortally wounding several more men
- We ended the session after the fight was finished, but not done.
Session 25 Summary
- The fight continues!
- The Sahuagin is dispatched with the rest of his crew in front, and The Captains turn inwards
- The would-be kidnappers who chased Skavin into the house are convinced to leave by Ari
- However, as they descend the stairs, they're met with blades and violence from Shadow, Gyrnst, and Zo.
- Zo uses serious druid magic to arguably shake the foundation of the house
- In the end, only three of the would-be kidnappers escaping
- Two early on, one at the end
- As The Captains catch their breath, the storm hammers on, washing away the blood and violence from the shores of Bonanny Islands
