- After a fight and interrogating the fixer Thero, they that he was hired by Kaelvarr to remove Ari as a threat and solidify his power in the Eldrid family.
  - Thero hired Brynja as an assassin, and wasn't expecting everyone to be in the same bar at the same time.
  - Ari tried to call Kaelvarr from Thero's phone, but it was declined, and after revealing she was Kaelvarr's sister, they lost communication with him.
- Ari was stabbed by an unknown water genasi broad daylight in the bar Devil to Pay in Corellon's Crown!
  - The assailant whispered "Elis sends his regards," as they slid the blade between her ribs.
